Installing the new 20V 4AGE engine:
It was time to install the new engine, so I connected up the new wiring harness (separate page on that here) and put it on the pallet. I purchased a set of manual engine mounts since my automatic ones would not work. I also bought some urethane (kirkosaurus) mount inserts. The install went smooth until the end, where the driver side mount would not line up, the engine was just too low. After some head scratching I decided to make a spacer plate from solid aluminum, 1 inch thick. After installing this, everything lined up perfect and the engine was level, before it was at a sharp angle and looked wrong. I’m not sure what went on here, but the simple spacer plate solution solved the issue.
