How to drain your fuel tank manually:
Before removing my fuel tank for cleaning I realized that I had about 30 liters of fuel still in the tank. I needed to siphon all that out. I purchased a pump to do this by snaking a tube up through the top of the fuel tank where the fuel level sender is. In retrospect my later model MR2 has the fuel drain plug on the bottom of the fuel tank, this would have been easier, however both processes work well.
