Replacing worn springs and shot shocks:
My car still had factory shock inserts (oil filled!) and the springs looked terrible. I purchased a new set of KYB Excel-G shocks and a set of ST lowering springs from another MR2OC forum member. By this time I had an impact wrench and a set of spring compressors. Vital tools for rebuilding the struts. I also replaced the rubber spring seats with Toyota OEM. The ST springs lower the car about an inch and require your to trim the bump stops.
